The Art of Branding @ Vision Miami
Vision:Miami is a new concept in networking, combing a unique mix of business people and professionals as well as designers and creatives, in a social business networking environment that supports others visions. Founded in Miami just over 2 years ago, Vision founder Johnny Regan approached Right Brain Branding Consultants to help Vision relay their message through a stronger, more focused and defined brand.
During the course of 2004, Right Brain has worked closely with Vision to develop its brand and have created powerful online applications that reflect Vision:Miami’s uniqueness.
Right Brain CEO, Tim Pedersen, has become a regular speaker at Vision events, advising companies on brand strategy and design and more recently was on the panel of guest speakers for “The Art of Branding – What is a Brand?” event held on Miami on 16th December 2004.
“A brand is the soul of the company. Everyone within the company is part of the brand. As designers, we’ve see a four-stage process evolve with branding. The first stage is for us to take care of the logo, creating a logo and making sure it is used consistently throughout the entire company and on all materials. The second stage is to understand what the message is saying; thirdly – that everyone within the company is saying the same message and finally, personal branding. More and more personal brands are being developed within companies and this creates extremely valuable assets, both for the company and the person, being perceived as an expert in that industry. That is a Brand. Most of all though, branding is about having a consistent message.”
Consistency being of such significant importance to a Brand, Right Brain Branding Consultants have developed a consistent and powerful brand for Vision Miami, which is now receiving national recognition.
